Intra-Oral Camera

Designed to allow dentists to capture and display digital images from inside a patient’s mouth, intra-oral cameras are a valuable tool for patient education and case documentation. Patients do not always accept treatment they cannot understand, but an intra-oral camera allows them to see what dentists see.A problem such as a fractured tooth can be easier to spot and impossible to ignore, when it is magnified on a computer monitor or TV screen. Shaped like a small wand, many dental intraoral cameras are highly portable and easily connect to a computer through wifi, via USB or via a docking station. Most commonly equipped with LEDs, these digital cameras can capture images without the need for external lighting.

Sybronendo Obtura

Obtura used while doing root canal process. It helps a comprehensive fill in primary canals, when you take that final x-ray and you see gutta percha has also flowed into lateral and accessory canals, fins, loops and isthmuses, you know you’ve achieved total obturation excellence.  Those are the results we can expect with the Obtura, the instrument that heats gutta percha to its ideal viscosity for Maximum obturation success.

Endo Activator

This innovative device agitates irrigation solutions during endodontic treatment. Evidence-based endodontics has shown that cavitation and acoustic streaming significantly improve debridement and the disruption of the smear layer and biofilm. The Endo Activator® System is designed to safely and vigorously energize the hydrodynamic phenomenon. Activated fluids promote deep cleaning and disinfection into lateral canals, fins, webs, and anastomoses. A cleaned root canal system facilitates 3-D obturation and long-term success.

Morita Root Zx II Apex Locator

That means that one instrument only is required to prepare a root canal. The shape obtained by the RECIPROC® instrument enables effective irrigation and obturation with both cold and warm techniques.RECIPROC® instruments are marked with the ISO colour of the instrument tip size for easy identification.

Air Polishing

Air polishing is a procedure which uses air and water pressure to deliver a controlled stream of specially processed sodium bicarbonate or glycine powders in a slurry through the hand piece nozzle. Fine particles of powders are propelled by compressed air in a warm spray and directed onto the surfaces of the teeth. This pressurized jet of air, water and powder removes surface stains, plaque and other soft deposits such as food particles trapped in between the teeth.Air polishing device usage include general post-scaling prophylaxis, cleaning of deep fissures, interproximal cleaning, surface cleaning (stains and dental plaque removal), surface cleaning, tooth cleaning before fluoridation, and removal of temporary cement residues.

Alginate mixer

Alginate Mixer is a device which has the dual speed operation and high-torque motor deliver. It can improve gel strength and impression accuracy while saving mixing time and material. Models made with these small imperfections can cause problems as they can be not as accurate as a model cast from an impression with a perfect mix. The alginate mixer produces a smooth and homogeneous mix which is bubble and lump free every time, giving you the best models, and hopefully fewer problems. Alginate Mixer reportedly produces a consistently smooth, creamy, bubble-free mix and eliminates hand mixing.

Autoclave

Dental sterilizers are imperative to a dental practice. Also referred to as autoclaves, dental sterilizers use steam – at temperatures reaching 270°F to completely sterilize instruments and equipment. This steam sterilization of various surgical tools and dental instruments is efficient and safe. Designed for safety as well as infection control, sterilizers lock while in use and unlock when instruments are sterile and dry. Depending on what is being sterilized an autoclave cycle can range from 6 to 30 minutes. While steam is a common method for dental instrument sterilization, some dental sterilizers use dry heat and eliminate moisture from the process. Dental autoclaves and sterilizers may be among the most used equipment in a dental practice.

A comprehensive range of accessories and BioSonic cleaning solutions provide the user with flexibility to efficiently clean and disinfect instruments, prostheses and other items throughout the dental practice.

Cold Sterilisation

What is cold sterilization? Cold sterilisation is a method of sterilization that requires the reusable semi-critical items to be immersed in an EPA-approved liquid chemicals. These chemicals can include glutaraldehydes, peracetic acid, and hydrogen peroxide-based solutions. Single-use items can never be cold sterilized. They are not manufactured to be sterilized and may resist the process because of the materials with which they are made.
