Dental Crown

Dental Crowns, also known as “cap”, cover a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and appearance. Due to their cost, they are used in cases where other procedures will not be effective.

Dental Crowns have the longest life expectancy of all cosmetic restorations, but are the most time-consuming.

Different Types Of Dental Crowns

✔️ Ceramic and Porcelain
✔️ Metal
✔️ Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal
✔️ Resin

Full Coverage Crowns

A full-coverage crown is used to cover your entire tooth up to the gum line to offer support to the tooth, which would otherwise break. The complete process of crown includes two steps.

✔️ During the first step, we will numb the tooth and remove the damaged part. Then we will take an impression of the tooth and send it to our lab where your crown will be designed. Finally, we will put on a temporary crown.

✔️ It will take around two weeks for your permanent crown to arrive. We will remove the temporary one, and bond the tailored made crown which will restore the original shape of your face.

Porcelain Inlays and Onlays:

Porcelain inlays and Onlays are used when your tooth has enough enamel that you do not need a full-coverage crown. They cover the ¾ of the tooth. However, the overall process is similar to full coverage crown and it is completed in two steps.
